Monday night and Tuesday morning I had the worst time I've had in a long time. There was constant mental chatter and I barely slept at all. When I did sleep, I had panic and nightmares. What was the big problem? It was in-fighting about whether or not to go to therapy. I went. And I told him everything that I haven't yet been able to about the upset that happened between us last month. And it looks like maybe we can sort this thing. I feel relieved. I'm tired and I have a lot to do in the next couple of days, so... I'm glad for the relief and hope to get some real sleep. And I know the little girl wants her New Guy back. She likes her inner nanny just fine, but it's not the same thing. I sent her and her nanny to a tropical island so I could sleep. I dreamed that the palm trees were covered in snow. (And am I the only person like me who has a drag queen for an inner nanny? Anyone?)

I'm so glad that you are feeling some relief. These last few weeks have been such a nightmare for you. Hope you slept well. xx
ReplyDeleteMy focus has been mostly on my chronic illness, not my BPD, but I appreciate your inner struggles! I have been openly writing about mine, especially personal matters lately at my blog. And boy did I have a dream last night! I am trusting it to all make sense one of these days...

Wishing you some "good" sleep soon!
ReplyDeleteMy inner nanny has more of a drunken nco ... sleep well.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to talk to new guy and that you have gotten some relief. I hope you are able to get the rest you need.
ReplyDeleteThank you, my friends. I slept really well and I needed it very much. I am going to bed again soon and I hope for more of the same.
ReplyDeleteMago - you crack me up!! You're good people.
:-)
No inside drag queen but you did totally crack me up since several inside are queer. So is my younger son and one of his best friends is "screaming queen," as the saying goes, and loves to get dolled up. His drag name is Anna Mosity, pretty clever! I just hope your inside drag queen is waaaay less abrasive than J/Anna! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, glad things are looking up, of course!

Hee hee!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnna Mosity? That's PRICELESS! I LOVE young people. I JUST DO!!!
My own personal transvestite is a total love. And has no particular animosity. :-) But he does have a big, slightly buck-toothed smile and a little bit too much eye make-up, which is starting to run. His great big smile and giant heart make me love him. Right now I'm trying not to think too hard about where this picture of him may have become so refined (as I'm not spoiling for an inner fight) and I am just glad that I can appreciate him all the same.
Thanks for your comments, Michelle. I LOVE hearing about young people who question authority and the status quo. Especially if the questioning is non-violent and the questioners are not self-destructing or committing crimes. Young people like these protect the future of the United States Constitution (whether they know it or not). Gay, straight, transgendered or cross-dressing -- We NEED these vibrant young people and I am VERY glad they are here. Every single one is more precious than gold.
And please excuse such an oddity coming from a married, middle-aged woman with children, but...
ReplyDeleteGOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!
Please. Because I LOVE him.
:-)
