I have peace in my body. Imagine that.

It's been a tense and busy week. The list of problem items from the last post is just about resolved, though I still need to do some more cleaning up around the house. It's nice to have the pressure off. Plus, there was a personal realization for me earlier in the week that helped me immensely and immediately. I don't yet know how to put it all into words that others would understand, but I guess that's okay, too. I don't want to be premature, but this feels like a game changer. And because of it, I know I'm not nuts. Never was. You know what else? Jenny might have shitty taste in music, but the woman knows what she's talking about. Now I do, too.

Remember how I said that the new year begins whenever I say it does? Well... it has begun. I am not normally a resolution maker. What I have done instead is to make a short list of important, but slightly neglected items which deserve my attention. *I* am on the list. I must say, I do like that. And it is nice to have a few goals laid out in writing as well.

Happy New Year, peoples.

  1. Good for you! I've never thought you were crazy in the least. Lots of overwhelming stuff to deal with? Yes. Sometimes you have to disconnect in order to resolve what's going on inside.
