Happy New Year!!

Sorry to be a bitch, but the happiest thing about it for me is that the holidays are over and things will begin to get back to normal now. It also means time to focus. I have taxes to pay and strategies to refine. Because I am a 'disabled' person who refuses to file for disability. Why? Because I have abilities other than the ones that are currently shut down and I refuse to be 'disabled' just because my parents (and subsequent others) fucked me. FUCK THEM!!! Fuck them all.

This year I am planning to pay not only my own taxes, but I might also pay the taxes for others as well -- depending on what comes up on offer. Because I need the profit. I know it sounds shitty to make a profit off of people who can't pay their property taxes or to do the same to those whose homes have been taken over by the county, but a girl's gotta eat, ya know?

My own personal income for last year was abysmal and I intend to do better now. I know how to make it happen and I'm not going to let anything stop me anymore. And the little girl? I can deal. She can help make food because she likes that (see the last post) and it keeps her relatively quiet for now (the hen was lovely, BTW). Therapy is helping, too. Really (*insert sarcastic grin here*), IT IS. Because it reminds me to keep myself to myself lest I be hurt. AGAIN.

Anyhoo, I don't give a rip. I take opportunities as they present themselves. I see one here and it smells like money. I like that smell. I just do. I have to think of the future for my husband and me, ya know? This year can be different than the last. Yes, I know it involves some disconnect, but I have my priorities and just between you and me? My husband does bring home the bacon. But only for today. He's a present moment kind of dude (Old Guy would LOVE him), so the rest is up to me unless we want to live in a piss-stained nursing home and/ or suck off the teat of the state when we are older. That just does not sound attractive to me. And now I am looking at avenues I have neglected in favor of the stock market. I made hardly anything in that last year because I felt confused about the direction of things and was afraid to trade. I liquidated for the kids at a good time, though. For that I am grateful. But I can't do anything more there just yet because people are really (stupid) hyped up about the jobless, houseless (fake and temporary) recovery. Sorry, I'm not buying it. But I will be ready in the bear ETFs when people start to see the light of day. In the meanwhile, I will also buy your house out from under you if you don't pay your taxes. 'Cause I'm an asshole like that (and that's the only reason I'm not living in poverty - it's my asshole-ish-ness).

And I would like to thank the academy. And Old Guy. And also New Guy. Because fake broads are more likely to have focus (and to off themselves) and less likely to send their kids to public schools, less likely to have children leave their home with crooked teeth, less likely to lose their family's health insurance and less likely to end up in shitty nursing homes when they get old. Their kids can get braces on their teeth (budgeted for this month) and they are more likely to go to college (they want med school and I don't want them saddled with outrageous student loans -- that means major $$$).

Thank you, therapy. And now kindly piss off.

I was going to turn off comments, but WTF? They are moderated. And if I don't like a shitty comment, I will simply delete it without another thought just because I can. Fuck it. I guess I just don't care. Therapy rocks!!! But right now I am thinking of all the other things I could do with the money it costs me. That's just how I roll (and why my issues and I don't live on Skid Row). And I make no apologies.

  2. Go, Lynn! I'm with you! Thanks for reminding me how much I hate relying 100-f-ing percent on the government. Argh. Yes, I'm being snarky but I really do rely on them for everything. And I hate it. I've tried working, I've tried school, I've done it all many times over. I hope one day I can function well enough to do something, anything. In the meantime, I love my country, it's my government I'm afraid of, and I can't do a whole lot about subsisting off of them for now. Notice that the word subsist starts with the prefix sub- which means "under." ::sigh::

  3. Thanks, Wanda!

Michelle, I can't work at any kind of regular job, either. Same goes for school. I've tried numerous times, too, but the stuff I live with just makes it impossible. That's why I do the investing. Hey, if you wanted to try something that is not so tighly structured as a 'job', maybe you could try something like ebay or etsy.

"Therapy is helping, too. Really (*insert sarcastic grin here*), IT IS. Because it reminds me to keep myself to myself lest I be hurt. AGAIN." Yeah, so true!

*That's just how I roll (and why my issues and I don't live on Skid Row). And I make no apologies.* *Swoon* You make my knees weak when you talk like that!
