The doctor in the E.R. seems quite certain that the bleeding is caused by inflammation from the recent acid reflux flare up. Now hub is on his way to schedule an upper GI series to be absolutely sure. And I should probably stop thinking about this until we get the results. If nothing else, the E.R. doc did not think there was any reason for panic, only for the GI series and more acid reducing medication (taken more regularly instead of just whenever). No reason to panic? Oops. I tend to kinda panic when people I love wake up belching bloody stomach acid. I hope things will be very, very okay very, very soon.
