The Big Brass Balls Award

Just as soon as I can get off my preoccupied ass, I am creating a new blog award. I think I'll call it The Big Brass Balls Award. The first recipient is Rising Rainbow. Check her out and you'll see why. It's because she's a freakin' champion, that's why. Hopefully, she won't find my award to be in poor taste. :-) Wanna hear the story behind the brass balls?

My uncle J, the family comedian, knew how to rock a wedding rehearsal dinner. He presented my sister's groom with a unique gift right at the table. It was a brass ball of fairly impressive size. :-) He said, "It takes a set of big brass balls to marry into this family. I'll give you the first one, but you gotta earn the other one." The man wasn't lyin'.

Anyway, until I get that award made, here's to you, RR. Here's to all of us who have survived. (The award will not leave out the men, but this is one of my fave tunes now. And the video kicks ass.)
