Yes! My license is safe. I talked with my broker and he is going to take my license with him! There's only one catch. Because there will be no more corporation, I will have to carry my own professional liability insurance if I start selling again. I feel very lucky. I still have my license with the nice and very smart broker I trust (who cares very deeply for clients), AND he knows I may or may not come back to work and that's alright with him. He is going to call me next week and I will go over there, or he will come here, and we will fill out the appropriate paperwork. What a relief!
Now, if I could just find the battery charger for my camera. I might have to buy a new one. Which I will then have my husband hide so I cannot hide it first. Make sense? Probably not to anyone but me, but I guess that's okay.

Phew!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I certainly DO understand. Cos I hide things (eg the lounge door keys) to keep them safe and forget where I have hidden them!!!
Seriously, we are missing house keys cos of me!
So Mrs K has to hide things first!!
lol!
Let me guess...you put it somewhere for safe keeping and it was such a good hiding place you can't find it. I do it all the time.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got your license transferred OK!! That can be a very frightening prospect! I hope your current insurance agent was able to get you a good rate on your professional liability coverage - that was the trickiest thing for me when I looked into going solo. I had no idea of how much coverage I needed or where to get it. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteAlso, hope you find your battery charger for the camera. I know those things ain't cheap! :) I also hope you had a good thanksgiving weekend - it's a good time to rest and recharge! (No pun intended....)
I'm glad you will be able to leave your license with him. That's a relief.
ReplyDeleteAnd re the hiding things--oh yeah, do I understand.
