Thought for the Day

Is it really a good idea to twist and warp one's true self and deny reality in order to fit into a society that is profoundly ill? I think not. Each person is free to make their own decision, but I think such a decision is much too important to be made outside of conscious awareness. And yes, these kinds of decisions involve making actual judgements (gasp!). As for us, we have the balls to judge and will never go back to conforming. Ain't gonna happen. I can still whip out a handy mask when I must be out among those who are stupid and unconscious, but I no longer confuse the mask with the Self. And I think this one thing is the cornerstone of true healing. It is with this realization that I see and feel how much we have to celebrate in here. Today is a wonderful day. And I LOVE myself -- ALL OF ME. I've been working on some ways to show it a little better, too. Yes, it's all about me. FINALLY. It's about goddamn time. I thought this day would never come and now it's here and ALL OF ME gets to know about it. 'Cause we rock.
