I suppose not many people really want to read the ranting I engage in when my life gets this busy, so I'm taking a break from the blog for a bit. I've got some more fires to stomp out and I hope I will return to this place soon with no scorch marks on my ankles. Be well, folks.

To the koolaid-stained comment spammer: I'm sorry to break it to you, but you've been brainwashed. You're also a nitwit. Wake up and smell the coffee already.

  4. I just get to know that you are there, and you have left.

BTW, the current administration tried to get medical insurance, including mental health services for everyone, but the opposition called it socialism and scared everyone away.

  5. Welcome, Mumbles. I had a terrible time deciding which side of the fence I was on in the healthcare debate. I would love nothing better than for everyone to have every service they need, but... there is irony here. :-) I would need for nothing if not for the size of my tax burden. I feel on the verge of having to choose between having therapy and having schools for my children (schools where there are no shootings) so everyone can have everything they need. Everyone except me and my children! Why? Because I refuse to lie down and stop trying. I could file for disability and get it, but I refuse to be disabled by this and I do not want to rely on others when they don't seem to know what the hell they're doing to begin with. Don't believe me? Read some blogs written by those in countries with socialized medicine who are seeking the mental health care that the tax dollars are supposed to be paying for. The public is being burglarized in those places and WE ARE NEXT. And people will STILL not have what they need. It seems that some things, no matter how kind and how right, will never work because they simply go against human nature. Especially when the needed things are to be delivered by large governments. Personally, I think it is more efficient when we all do whatever we can to be charitable in the private sector. That way no politicians get a cut and there is a lot less waste.

Thanks for commenting. I'm not nearly as bitchy as my reply makes me sound, I'm just tired and fed up.

  6. Rant all you want. It's your blog. If it helps you, put it all out here. Who cares what us readers think anyway ;) This blog is for you and to help you, not entertain us.
