Overheard (my teenage daughter J on the phone with a boy): "No, I don't want to ask them. My parents would never let me and A spend the night over there with you and your sister anyway." *pause* "No, I don't really want to. It wouldn't be right."

She sounds like a strong girl. A credit to her parents.
ReplyDeleteYes, she is strong. And she's a very good girl. I am so lucky to have the honor of being her mother. If she were someone else's daughter instead of mine, I would be very jealous and wish that I could be her mother. My children are one of the ways that I am very lucky. They are really good people and I am honored, without exception, to be their mother.
