I understand you have moved my son to a minimum security facility because, in a gravely delayed response to your own financial mismanagement, you need to begin the early release process for those who are not habitually violent or a threat to society. I deeply appreciate that you have correctly categorized my son, but I hope you will not delay unnecessarily. He has a possible broken ankle which has not yet received an x-ray, he has gum disease he did not have when he entered your custody, you don't give him enough food and so I must send him money each month to try to help him maintain minimum health standards. Today he called to ask for a little bit more since he gets even less food in the new facility and has lost weight that he cannot afford to lose. I have been broke before, too, but I still made sure he wasn't hungry. Even when I had to do without. Even when I had to rebuild my own transmission by flashlight at night while walking for miles through snow in holey shoes in the daytime to clean other people's toilets in order to provide for my boy. It is obvious to me that you are incompetent to provide rations for my son in anything that resembles a humane manner. Please give him back so I can feed him and get him to a proper dentist and doctor.
p.s. If you use my undernourished son to clean the oil spill and do not provide him with extra food and full bio-hazard gear, I am in need of a hobby and will gleefully sue your ass off. I am not afraid of you in the slightest. I am full of rage, but I am not like my parents and I only unload on really BIG targets. Targets like you. I heap it all on the likes of you and the bigger, the better. Push me just a little more and I promise I'll very joyfully make you sorry.
Respectfully,
A Potentially Rabid Mama Bear

Gee this terrible that you have to go through all of this.
ReplyDelete(((LYNN)))) I can't imagine the rage that is surging thru you as you worry about your baby. How sad that you have to plead with the facility for care that is really his RIGHT. I continue to shake my head! He seriously doesnt get enough food? That's beyond horrid!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good mother. You are truly an amazing woman...probably more so than you realize. I have no doubt you will do everything humanly possible, and perhaps not so human, to ensure your son is taken care of.
You wouldn't believe the things I've had to intervene in to try to keep this kid healthy in there. It's ridiculous and the state should be ashamed. I feel sorry for prisoners who don't have anyone to support them and advocate for them.
