I may be a miserable motherfucker, but I know how to interpret charts. Europe is red, futures are red (triple digits at the moment), the federal government is talking about diluting bank shares, and I'm short the financials. The ascending wedge is about to fall. Which means I (and Amanda) have a chance to make some $$$. I'm off to attempt to take a nap so I can be awake when the market opens. This is one of the moments when I really resent my sleep dysfunction. Goodnight ascending wedge. And thank you for doubling Uncle Freddie in the meanwhile. I appreciate it.
Wish me luck, folks. I'll be waking up with my trading hat on. Hell, I'll be sleeping with it on. If I sleep. (Invisible man from the last post - I swear to Melvin god of leaves, if you fuck with me I'll cut your dick off.)
Edited to Add: Wow, am I ever tired. I did it, though. I didn't get to sleep before the market opened, but I did what I needed to do. I bought the Freddie Mac shares six weeks ago for .39 per share. I sold them today for .84 per share, which was just .01 below the high of the day. I also bought more shares of the inverse ETF in account #1 to average it down. Then I bought more of the same in account #2. I'm already up ten percent there. I wouldn't have been able to take care of these things if I had been sleeping when the market opened. It was too difficult to predict well enough to place orders in advance for this particular situation. I would not have been able to get them all filled. Now I'm sleep deprived. I will back off, but keep watching. The end of the week is probably the earliest I will sell any of this stuff, but it could be weeks as there will be up days and down days along the way. I love finding the reversals, though. The closer I nail it, the more I can maximize profits. I guess I'll go wash the dinner dishes now and start winding this joint down toward eventual... sleep. Perchance to not dream...

Good luck! I have no idea what any of that means, but I wish you luck, anyway!
ReplyDeleteFantastic call EH, and many thanks again for the early heads up. :)
ReplyDeleteAs for invisible men...I'm a great believer of tar and feathers! (Read my fair share of Mark Twain as a kid.) I also like bonfires.
Thank you for that, Superla.
ReplyDelete:-)
Hi, Amanda. Looks like our ship has pulled into port, eh? The tar and feathers are a good idea. That would make him visible so I can neuter him more easily.
I like that Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI may be a miserable motherfucker!!
Graffiti

ReplyDeleteFirst support area on the Dow today is 7.745,14 the second is 7.648,55 according to my meager charting. Happy tradin!
Graffiti, you are a miserable motherfucker lol!
ReplyDelete(only kidding - couldnt resist it. Always wanted to call someone that.)
I think you are a kind and caring individual, though I am not sure you'd like to be labelled that!
Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI think you are absolutely fucking motherfuckingly fabulous.
I came here and wanted to give you a real big {{{{hug}}}} and say assumptions; fuck them. They dont matter.
You may or may not know what the fuck I am talking about. I suggest that you dont go looking for what the fuck I am talking about. But if you do, know what I have just said above.
All in the end is harvest.
And apologies, I am a little inebriated and I will stay cryptic.
Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI so admire your financial savvy! Good for you that you are making money in THIS market. Crazy, crazy days we are in, huh?
Hugs,
Tamara
