1. 2 of the four beer pounds slotted for removal are gone. That's half. Yay!

2. I finished John Grisham's 'The Associate'. It was good. I guess now I'd better start scrounging around for something else to read.

3. There was a power outage today and my alarm didn't go off. Having gotten up on the wrong side of the bed that way, I've been in a mood.

4. My to-do list is pissing me off.

5. At least I didn't miss out on the awesome market move today.

6. That's good because I need the money to keep paying for my third grader to waste more time at school coloring Easter bunnies on our hard-earned dollars instead of furthering her reading and math skills. This pisses me off at least as much as the list. She can color all she wants at home and it doesn't cost anything.

7. I wonder what the Jewish and Muslim parents think of this.

8. I've had a couple of really shitty nights/ mornings.

9. I've been very grouchy today. Like Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street.

10. The hub scored on a lightly used pull-behind trailer for the work van. It was unbelievably cheap. More space = more merchandise = more money to pay for the little one to color the Easter bunnies. And to pump us up to better score another rental.

11. I still feel grouchy.

  1. I want to apologize for having avoided commenting when you've been so supportive of me. Problem is I'm such a fucking jealous cunt that I can't bear to read about other people's weight loss triumphs when for me food is heroin and I've been 100 pounds overweight for almost six years now. I'm so sorry to come off as such an ass. I really do want to support others with whatever they need. That's the one place where I come up short though. Way short.

  2. Congratulations on the 2 beer pounds! I'm still working on the 60+ work (also chocolate, pasta and cake) pounds, but I am so happy for you!! :) (Please don't lose any weight near me, though - I tend to find it when other people lose it and then I can't put it down...)

  3. Yay for you and the loss of the 2 beer pounds! My to-do list pisses me off regularly. My fault though for putting way too much stuff on it and then feeling like a failure when I don't get it all done! LOL

Sorry you are feeling so grouchy. Hope that gets better very soon!

  4. We've got basket-weaving courses here too. Apparently not all kids get to do these things (singing, drawing, etc.) at home. Still bugs me sometimes though...

It really sucked going short prematurely (I way underestimated this rally) but I'm glad to read that a fellow blogger caught the move.

That said, noticed the banking index hasn't been making any new highs lately.

  5. I still have a trapped short, Amanda. The good trade was actually my hedge!

    :-)
