One of those numbered posts...

1. I wrote a little bit more on Sunday night.

2. Monday I bought a new pair of plaid shoes and a flowered purse to go with them. The flowered purse will look great with my combat boots, too. Yes, I'm a fashion nightmare. You should see the pink pants I'm wearing right now. Even *I* find them ridiculous. Elton John might like them, though, so they can't be too bad.

3. I'm running out of logical places to put my shoes. I think I'm going to give some away.

4. I finished the continuing education course so I can remain a member of the fabulous National Association of Realtors. Yay me! I was a bit surprised by the final exam, though, because it seemed a little more difficult than I had anticipated. I still got a 96%, just like always. Yes, I mean always. I always get a 96 on a real estate test. I don't know why. Maybe it's my lucky number.

5. I fell asleep at midnight. Not to worry, my husband's unbelievable snoring woke me up by 1. I'm totally up now. You know how the FBI has used loud music to torment people into turning themselves in to the authorities? Well... a recording of my husband's snoring would work just as well. I need to find a way to market that.

6. The snoring continues, though it has moved out to the couch. And I can't get this song out of my head.

  1. Oh, the inhumanity. He still won't shut-up-a his face.

    *sob*

Who am I kidding? Once I was up, I would have stayed up even if he stopped snoring. Even if I had stayed asleep, I can't know if it would have lasted.

Now I sit here exhausted, unable to sleep, and I have heartburn. I shouldn't have eaten deviled ham in the middle of the night and washed it down with cookies. What was I thinking? I don't normally do things like that.

Guess what I'm thinking now? Shoes. I should make a shoe post. Who wants shoe pics? Better still, I could give each pair a caption. I could let my shoes talk. I could call it "If Shoes Could Talk".

  5. I LOVE shoes. A few years ago an attorney friend got pregnant. Her feet swelled and never went down. So I inherited 19 pairs of shoes. And she has good and expensive taste. I was in heaven. Then with this pregnancy, my feet grew. I just gave away 5 pairs. I was sad, but then I realized that I have an excuse to shop.

I want to see pictures of your favorite shoes. If my husband wasn't in the bedroom asleep, I'd take some. Maybe tomorrow.

  6. Amanda, I am hoping that the laughs from a shoe post will drown out the snoring. :-)

Lovely Kahless, it is perfectly okay not to comment. And I'm glad you got some 'puter time. Very cool.

Hi, Cornnut! Yes, nights like that are rotten. I'm sorry that you suffered one, too.

Enola, 19 pairs?! Good and expensive taste?! What an awesome piece of luck! I have good and expensive taste, too, but... it doesn't stop me from being the cheapskate that I am and shopping at Payless! I think the shoe post will still be good, though.
    :-)
I already have most of it drafted, but I need to take the pics. I'm looking forward to it. I love love love shoes!
