I'm doing it again. I'm putting it off. On the bright side, you would not believe how much laundry I got done tonight. I smile and think of the bright side and I tell myself that I am not afraid to go to bed. Yes, that's right - I flat out lie.

  1. Do you have any rituals to help you feel better about going to sleep?

    I have a whole row of them. Closing the doors in a certain way, leaving certain lights on, radio? I even slept with a knife under my pillow for quite a long time. Whatever it takes to get you sleep.

  2. I have many rituals. The problem is that they get morph into things that cannot end, thus putting off sleep even more. It seems that the thing that has been most helpful, though somewhat disheartening, is to just accept that this is the way things are.
